There’s definitely something eerie about this indie YELLOWBRICKROAD that I’m digging in a big way. Thanks to the strange storyline and the persuasive trailer, I’m certainly looking forward to this entry in the Bloody Disgusting Selects series that will be running all summer long. And lord knows we need us some quality horror in the summertime.

To help get you pumped, we’re bringing you an exclusive clip from YELLOWBRICKROAD. It appears as though things are already going bad for our protagonists at this point in the story, as we’re obviously in full panic mode. Prepare to be creeped out…

The synopsis for YELLOWBRICKROAD: In the Fall of 1940, the entire population of Friar, New Hampshire—all 572 of them—abandoned their homes, their possessions and their lives and walked up an ancient trail, never to be seen alive again. Their fates remained a mystery for over seventy years, until a team of researchers discover the trailhead and attempt to retrace the path the doomed citizens of Friar took. A few among them believe they will find something terrible in the forest. But it is the forest that will find something terrible in them.

YELLOWBRICKROAD hits select AMC theaters on JUNE 1st. It stars Cassidy Freeman, Anessa Ramsey, Clark Freeman, Lee Wilkof, Laura Heisler, Alex Draper, Tara Giordano, Michael Laurino and Sam Elmore.
