The old saying goes that there are no new stories but rather just ways to tell old ones in new ways. A perfect example is DIE HARD. When the original action film was released, it was a version of movies seen before but done in a way that set it apart from other films like it. Since then, countless movies have been released that set themselves up as DIE HARD on something.
PAUL BLART: MALL COP was the shopping plaza version of DIE HARD and now the sequel looks to take things to the next level. But, it begs the question as to which DIE HARD variations are the best.
