It’s a new year and so begins the first wave of films to usher us in. Unfortunately, the months of January through March are typically the lamest of the year, seeing a lot of “dump” films getting shuffled to the top of the deck as we start the slow crawl to the spring/summer months where things really pick up. There are a few offerings of note however, including a man with a particular set of skills doing his thing again, a woman in black (again), a British bear kids flick, a Michael Mann techno-thriller starring Thor, a wedding-themed remake of HITCH, a sub-thriller starring DOM HEMINGWAY, a George Lucas animated musical (f*ck me), a JLo psycho-sex pic, a Michael-Bay produced teen time-travel romp, Johnny Depp being crazy: Part XII, a race-themed drama with Lt.
