Exc. We interview John C. Reilly and more for The Sisters Brothers + clip

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

One of the movies that kinda snuck up on me at this year's TIFF was THE SISTERS BROTHERS (read my review). Based on the famous novel by Patrick deWitt and directed by A PROPHET's Jacques Audiard, I expected it to be good based on the cast alone. However, I wound up being throughly moved and surprised by this quasi-tragic/comic western, which I think contains one of star John C. Reilly's greatest performances ever. I was thrilled to sit down with some of the cast, including Reilly, who was clearly enthusiastic about the project, and a paired interview with a very silly Jake Gyllenhaal and Riz Ahmed (I don't think I even got a question in – but they were fun).

Also, check out this exclusive clip, a fun viral video explaining just how rough a meal in the old west could be.
