Exclusive: Knock Knock clip brings a sobering morning after for Keanu Reeves

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

There's nothing like waking up after a night of partying to find the bane of your illicit activities hanging out in your kitchen, eating breakfast, wearing your clothes, and watching TV. Well, at least that's what's going down for Keanu Reeves in this exclusive clip from Eli Roth's KNOCK KNOCK, which finds Reeves usually good-natured husband/father confronted with the two women (Lorenza Izzo & Ana de Armas) he let into his home the night prior, while his family was away. It's the bucket of ice water in the face for ol' Keanu as the real struggle begins when he finds his seductive mistresses aren't going away quietly…

Since I haven't seen KNOCK KNOCK, I can't say whether it captures the spirit of the film it's based on, Peter S. Traynor's 1977 cult film DEATH GAME, but it's most certainly got appeal. Certainly Roth at the helm is a draw (or deterrent, depending on your taste) and while some think Reeves is miscast in this type of role, perhaps it works in his favor with this type of material. We all know the guy is a mensch, so "dirtying" him up a bit for this role may just be some perfectly good B-movie fun.

You can find out for yourself when you answer the door to KNOCK KNOCK on October 9th, 2015.
