2047: Virtual Revolution Guy-Roger Duvert

Wild Eye Releasing is gearing up to release one of the biggest budgeted films they've ever handled, writer/director Guy-Roger Duvert's BLADE RUNNER-esque sci-fi film 2047: VIRTUAL REVOLUTION. With the DVD set to be released on January 16th, the film's trailer and poster have been unveiled – and we have the EXCLUSIVE first look at them below.

Starring Jane Badler of the V television series and prolific stuntman / actor Mike Dupod (he currently has 165 acting credits to his name), 2047: VIRTUAL REVOLUTION has the following synopsis:

The year is 2047. Most of the world's population live inside corporate-controlled virtual worlds and drift further out of touch with reality. Nash, a private investigator/ mercenary is hired to track down a group of hackers who are disrupting and terrorizing the virtual space in a bid to free human beings from their online prisons.

The trailer below offers an interesting mash-up of visuals – hi-tech, futuristic landscapes with heavily armed robots, mixed with shots of a fantasy genre land with dragons flying in the sky. That's the sort of thing you can do when virtual reality is involved.

Below the trailer is the poster, and you can click on it to get a look at a larger version.
