Exclusive: Vivica A. Fox pumps the brakes on exotic car theft in REV trailer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Before Dominic Toretto and his Fast family come racing back into theaters this May, Lionsgate is gearing up for the release of REV, an adrenaline-filled action thriller about the illegal underworld of exotic cars. Outfitted with style, attitude, and a garage full of gorgeous rides, REV is poised to peel out on DVD, Digital, and On Demand on May 12th.

Parked in the director's chair for REV is GEAR and PETROL helmer Ant Horasanli, who co-wrote the script with ofttimes collaborator Reza Sholeh. Stationed behind the wheel of REV  is Francisco Filice (THE MANHATTAN PROJECT, BROKEN MILE), who stars as Mikey for Horasanli's fast-paced thriller. Sitting shotgun is Vivica A. Fox (KILL BILL VOL. 1, INDEPENDENCE DAY), with Sean Rey (NORTE, BETRAYED, BAD DOSE) and Hannah Gordon (SCARECROWS) also along for the ride.

Here's the official synopsis:

When Mikey's not racing cars, he's stealing them all over the city. But after he gets caught boosting a rare ride from a cop's house, the police force him to go undercover or go to jail. Mikey agrees to join a grand theft ring led by violent, impulsive Charlie, who'd beat Mikey to death if he knew he was an informant. Even worse, Mikey finds himself attracted to Charlie's girlfriend, Ava, and their passionate encounter sets up a bloody, power collision between rage and desperation.

If fast cars, undercover stings, and the tasting of forbidden fruit gets your engine purring, be sure to check out REV when it arrives on DVD, Digital, and On Demand May 12, 2020.
