Friday the 13th: The Game was held back from reaching its full potential due to the copyright lawsuit between the original Friday the 13th‘s producer/director Sean S. Cunningham and screenwriter Victor Miller, and now it’s in the final days of its licensing deal. Since the lawsuit is over and the writers strike has ended, Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller will be able to get back to the work on the Friday the 13th TV series (called Crystal Lake) that he’s developing for rights holders Miller and Rob Barsamian (plus Miller’s lawyer Marc Toberoff), A24, and the Peacock streaming service. But while we wait to see how Crystal Lake is going to turn out and sadly watch Friday the 13th: The Game reach its end, G FUEL is providing us with something to drink. They have a Friday the 13th-inspired energy drink called Hack ‘N’ Slash Citrus Fruit Punch – and on Friday, October 13th, they’ll be releasing the drink in a special collector’s box!

G FUEL Hack ‘N’ Slash, also available as a ready-to-drink can at GNC stores, celebrates one of the most iconic slashers in horror movie history: Jason Voorhees. The Collector’s Box includes a 40-Serving tub of powdered Energy Formula and a 24 oz Stainless Steel “Friday the 13th” G FUEL Shaker Cup fans can’t get anywhere else.

Fans of Friday the 13th and energy drinks can join a Waitlist at GFUEL.com to be among the first to be notified when the collector’s box is available for purchase on Friday the 13th.

Here’s the production description: Ch-ch-ch-ch-ha-ha-ha-ha … It’s an eerie night, but when you’re on the shores of Crystal Lake, it’s easy for the mind to play tricks on you. You’ve heard the campfire stories about a mysterious killer who can’t be stopped … not even by death. Suddenly, fear cuts to your core like a razor-sharp machete as a hulking form in a jumpsuit and hockey mask strides forward from the shadows. In a panic, you run into a nearby cabin and shove a dresser in front of the door to create a crude barricade. In the dim light, you spot a calendar with today’s foreboding date circled in red … FRIDAY THE 13TH. You desperately search the cabin to find something – anything – to help you escape this horror. While rummaging through the absent camper’s belongings, you find the one thing that will ensure this won’t be your “final chapter”: The G FUEL Hack ‘N’ Slash Collector’s Box!

Inspired by the legendary “Friday the 13th” franchise and featuring artwork of slasher icon Jason Voorhees himself, this chilling combination of grapefruit, lime, orange, lemon, passionfruit, tangerine, and blood orange is formulated to help you get the Game-Changing energy boost you need to make your escape!

Powdered G FUEL Hack ‘N’ Slash Energy Formula is zero sugar and loaded with antioxidants from 18 different fruit extracts. Each serving has only 15 calories and contains 140 mg of caffeine.
