Alright people, listen up
(especially the Francophone’s) because you need to do two things right away.
First go and grab your daily agenda. Got it? Good. Now clear everything you
have, including weddings, funerals, birthdays, and religious holidays starting
July 5th and ending July 25th because the line-up for the 11th annual
Fantasia Festival
is now up and once you hear who will be in attendance, your not going to want to
miss it.
Sporting 120
feature length films, 10 documentaries, and 22 programs of short features, this
years festival is looking like it may be one of the best. Some of the features
will include
HATCHET, POSTAL, POULTRYGEIST,
THE TRIPPER, WIZARD OF GORE, NIGHTMARE DETECTIVE and IN THE
NAME OF THE KING to name a few.
One of the most
exciting aspects of this event as well will be the fact that our own John Fallon
AKA ‘The Arrow’ will be present during the North
American premiere of his kick-ass shoot-em’ up thriller
DEADEN.
How cool is that?
Joining The
Arrow on the guest list will also be David Arquette, Uwe Boll, Adam Green,
Rodrigo Gudino, Lloyd Kaufman, and many more.
If your anywhere
near the Montreal area during the month of July there really is no excuse to not
go. This thing really has films for just about every taste, and even if you
don’t want to see the flicks it’s worth it to stop in just to say hi to the
various celebs and possibly throw some dog doo at Uwe Boll.
