Fashion icons praise Edna Mode while introducing new Incredibles 2 footage

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

This Summer will see the return of Pixar's iconic superhero family, The Incredibles! In the long-awaited sequel directed by Pixar legend Brad Bird, Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) is left to care for Jack-Jack while Helen (Elastigirl) is out saving the world. Ah, but if you think things will be that simple for the super-powered household, you'd be quite wrong. There's also plenty of danger waiting for Pixar's animated do-gooders, and only when they all work together as a team will the group have any hope of winning the day.

Today we have a new documentary-style sketch trailer for INCREDIBLES 2 that focuses on the storied career of fictional designer to the stars, Edna 'E' Mode. As the trailer debuts new footage from the upcoming animated film, famous models and fashion icons such as Kendall Jenner, Nina Garcia, Rachel Zoe, and Zac Posen highlight their personal experiences with the irreverent Ms. Mode. The trailer is filled with more than a few chuckles, as the influential individuals featured in the footage celebrate one of the franchise's most beloved characters.

As we look forward to the sequel's June 15 bow, I'll leave you with some sage advice from Edna Mode herself, "No capes!"
