Fatale: new clip released for Hillary Swank-led psycho thriller

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Lionsgate has unveiled a new clip for their psycho horror-thriller Fatale, which you can watch at the top of the article! Below is the official synopsis:

A married man is tricked into a murder scheme by a female police detective.

Now, while I'm personally not really interested in the dated "woman be crazy" genre, it is nice to see some mid-budget thrillers getting some theater play and not just going straight-to-streaming (though, being released in theaters right now might be a death sentence, box-office-wise, so it might be more a curse than a blessing at the moment). Still, more mid-tier genre fare is always appreciated, and maybe this could be more normalized as bigger and bigger budgets prove unsustainable, and buoying them up with microbudgeted films isn't enough anymore.

Meanwhile, Fatale – directed by Deon Taylor and starring Hilary Swank, Michael Ealy, Mike Colter, Danny Pino, and Tyrin Turner – will be stalking select theaters today! Check you local listings.

So…what do you guys think? Either way, sound off below!
