FEARnet is doing something extra special this Halloween season that I believe each and every one of you will appreciate. For me, the month of October is all about watching as many of my favorite horror flicks as I possibly can–but I don’t always have the time to see as many as I’d like. Well no worries, because this year, FEARnet has you covered!
For the month of October, FEARnet is showcasing the 66.6 Second Film Festival, an online film festival featuring your favorite horror movies… summarized in 66.6 seconds. Now how cool is that?
To be exact, the fest features 10 horror flicks chopped and spliced together in 66.6 seconds, with commentary by the fest’s host so you know what’s going on. In concept, this is a great idea… but in execution, I don’t think it’s as ‘clever’ or ‘funny’ as they were hoping. The 60 second summary performed by bunnies it’s not… but they do sum up the flicks pretty well in just over a minute, so I gotta give them props for that!
Titles include NOES 2, JASON LIVES, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1990), THE HOWLING, EVIL DEAD 2, HOSTEL, THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE, BOOGEYMAN, and LEPRECHAUN! Wow, what a line up!
