Fear the Invisible Man trailer: the latest take on classic horror tale is now on VOD and DVD

Fear the Invisible Man, an action thriller take on the H.G. Wells story, is now on digital, VOD, and DVD. Check out the trailer!

When we first heard about Fear the Invisible Man last year, the project was seeking a distributor. Now 101 Films has given the film a digital, VOD, and DVD release, and you can check it out at THIS LINK! To help you decide whether or not Fear the Invisible Man is a movie you would like to see, we have embedded the film’s trailer at the top of this article.

Directed by Paul Dudbridge from a script written by Philip Daay and based on a concept from Monika Gergelova (drawing inspiration, of course, from the 1897 H.G. Wells novel), Fear the Invisible Man is described as being a “period action thriller”. It tells the following story: Adeline, a young British woman, shelters an old medical school colleague, a man who has somehow turned himself invisible. As his isolation grows and his sanity frays, he schemes to create a reign of wanton murder and terror across the city – and Adeline’s the only one who knows that he even exists.

The film stars Mhairi Calvey (Braveheart), David Hayman (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas), Mark Arnold (Teen Wolf), and Mike Beckingham (Truth Seekers).

Produced by M and M Film Productions, Fear the Invisible Man was filmed in England, with locations including Bristol, Gloucester, and Bath. Gergelova produced alongside Malcolm Winter and Michael Riley. Dudbridge is co-producer.

We should note that this has nothing to do with Universal’s Invisible Man franchise, which consisted of the thrilling 1933 original, the murder mystery The Invisible Man Returns, the slapstick comedy The Invisible Woman, the World War II spy movie Invisible Agent, a return to horror with The Invisible Man’s Revenge, and then Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man. That franchise was recently revived with an excellent film from Leigh Whannell (watch that HERE). The Wells novel is public domain, so anyone can make their own version of The Invisible Man.

Honestly, this looks better than I expected it to, so I might have to check it out one of these days.
