DavisDVD recently revealed that the 1975 horror anthology TRILOGY OF TERROR (you know, the one with the Zuni fetish doll that scares the crap out of me to this day) is heading to DVD August 29th from Dark Sky Films.
Directed by Dan Curtis (DARK SHADOWS, THE NIGHT STALKER), the film stars Karen Black in 4 roles in three separate stories written by William F. Nolan and Richard Matheson. Replacing the long out-of-print Anchor Bay disc (which only had a written interview with Karen Black as a supplement), this new DVD features a new fullscreen transfer and Dolby Digital 2.0 audio. Extras will include a commentary with Black and Nolan, Richard Matheson: Terror Scribe and Three Colors Black featurettes. No real artwork as of yet, I’m afraid (unless you like blowing up the dinky image DavisDVD has), so here’s a shot of that creepy fetish doll…
