Few more stills pop up for Brad Anderson’s The Vanishing on 7th Street

There’s a few directors out there that just impress me. I’m talking about guys whose name could sell a movie completely to me. Some of these names belong to legends like Christopher Nolan and Darren Aronofsky. But today I’m here to talk about another name that makes my ears shoot up. Mr. Brad Anderson.

Now it’s no surprise Anderson’s got a movie coming our way that’s just oozing with raving reviews. I’m of course talking about THE VANISHING ON 7TH STREET. (Our own Chris Bumbray gave it a 7/10 while The Arrow himself hit it with a 2 1/2 out of 4. Don’t let these guys judge for you though! When a massive power outage plunges the city of Detroit into total darkness, and a disparate group of individuals find themselves alone. The entire city’s population has vanished into thin air, leaving behind heaps of empty clothing, abandoned cars and lengthening shadows. Soon the daylight begins to disappear completely, and as the survivors gather in an abandoned tavern, they realize the darkness is out to get them, and only their rapidly diminishing light sources can keep them safe.

Andseron’s VANISHING ON 7TH STREET drops onto Video On Demand starting next Saturday January 7th and is due for a limited theatrical run on February 18th with a cast that includes Hayden Christiansen, Thandie Newton (below), John Leguizamo, Taylor Groothuis, Jordan Trovillion and Jacob Latimore.
