It seems yours truly is the unofficial JoBlo.com spokesperson for THE GOLDEN COMPASS so it’s time for your daily dose of “His Dark Materials” film adaptation goodness. And this one, you won’t wanna miss. The good folks over at Yahoo recently posted the final theatrical trailer for the film and, boy oh boy, it’s a doozy. Not only do we get a good idea of the grand, epic scale of the film but we get to hear Ian McKellen as true Armored Bear King Iorek Byrnison, we get to hear Kristin Scott Thomas as Lord Asriel’s daemon Stelmaria (hell, we even get to see Stelmaria!), we get to see a lot more of the story, we even get a short glimpse of Christopher Lee and, if I’m not mistaken, we hear Ian McShane as false Bear King Iofur. Check it out over HERE and strike back at will. The film opens December 7th.
