It has been quite sometime since I’ve heard anything about the spanish horror/thriller [REC]. It was one of those rare films that blew me away from the teaser a couple of months back. So to my surprise today, the final trailer has been let loose upon us, and I must say, I’m still jonesin’ to see it.
If you’ve never heard of [REC], then you should, because the film has already gotten picked up for a remake by the man who brought us THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES, John Erick Dowdle. The Spanish film, written and directed by Juame Balaguero and Paco Plaza is about:
A camerawoman who follows a team of firefighters into a rundown building when a new strain of rabies breaks out.
The film is told through hand held (BLAIR WITCH) style cinematography, and though a bit over done nowadays, this trailer still seemed to get under my skin. Look at it below!
