UPDATE: Game of Thrones: Season 7 will premiere on July 16th!
It's been said that season 7 of Game of Thrones would premiere in mid-2017, but here we are in March without a release date…yet! The truncated 7-episode season will be the 2nd to last, although it seems as if HBO is remaining aware of the fans' need for more Thrones. You can check out the teaser poster at the bottom, but in the meantime, here's a nifty, little announcement video and vigils tease!
The above clips come from the official Facebook page, where they stated that there would be a live event at 2pm (EST) today to help reveal the premiere date. Suffice it to say that it looks like we got that and a nice little teaser for the upcoming season. While I can't say I'm as thrilled about the show as I used to be, it is exciting to know that we're finally getting to the end of this epic journey!
