First look at Jessica Chastain in Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Here’s your first look at everyone’s current favorite redhead, Jessica Chastain, looking rather morose (maybe it’s the new hair color?) in Guillermo del Toro’s CRIMSON PEAK, the Mexican helmer’s ode to gothic horror and romance. Del Toro and Chastain previously worked together on MAMA.

CRIMSON PEAK also stars Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Hunnam. It’s not due to hit theaters until October 16, 2015, which is very far away indeed.

In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds…and remembers.

Can. Not. Wait. If you missed it in July, my report from the CRIMSON PEAK Comic-Con panel can be found HERE.
