First Look: Jesse Eisenberg & Imogen Poots in Vivarium

Jesse Eisenberg (THE SOCIAL NETWORK, ZOMBIELAND) and Imogen Poots (FRIGHT NIGHT, 28 WEEKS LATER, GREEN ROOM) star in director Lorcan Finnegan's science-fiction thriller VIVARIUM and today we have your first look at the killer cast via an all-new still from the film, which follows

A young woman (Poots) who, along with her fiancé (Eisenberg) is in search of the perfect starter home. After following a mysterious real estate agent to a new housing development, the couple finds themselves trapped in a maze of identical houses and forced to raise an otherworldly child.

Get it? Not to be a downer here or anything, but still, that "metaphorical" plot should be ashamed of itself. Plus, the film's title is kind of a spoiler in itself as VIVARIUM means: "an area, usually enclosed, for keeping and raising animals or plants for observation or research. Often, a portion of the ecosystem for a particular species is simulated on a smaller scale, with controls for environmental conditions."

The film is directed by Lorcan Finnegan (WITHOUT NAME), produced by Brendan McCarthy (THE LAST DAYS ON MARS, WAKE WOODS) and John McDonnell (I AM NOT A SERIAL KILLER, STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT) and stars Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg.
