At long last, we have an official look at the Joss Whedon-produced, Drew Goddard-directed horror film CABIN IN THE WOODS, courtesy of the fiends at Bloody Disgusting. It may not be much, but it’s something!

As hard as it is to believe, we’ve been writing about CABIN IN THE WOODS since July of 2007. Let that sink right on in for a second…

In any event, here you can see the main protagonists in the film – played by Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams and Kristen Connolly – as they investigate… something. Obviously the curtain is not going to be lifted on this movie’s surprises any time soon.

CABIN IN THE WOODS also stars Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford and Amy Acker. It’s been rumored to have an October release, but nothing has been confirmed yet. At least the reveal of this still signifies that we may be inching closer to seeing the damn thing…
