THE BOURNE LEGACY has arrived! The official trailer and poster for the 4th film in the franchise series have popped up online and are ready for your viewing pleasure. I won’t waste your time. Check ’em out below:

Looks pretty kick ass to me. The pic is written and directed by Tony Gilroy, who wrote the previous three films. I really dug Paul Greengrass’s style for the films (although some are pained by the “shaky-cam”), but this looks consistent enough to remain true to the style of the overall series: which is pretty much all about kicking ass and taking names sans a British accent. If ya catch my drift.

Jeremy Renner, aka Hawkeye, takes over the starring role for Matt Damon (albeit a different character) and is joined by some new and old faces from the series, including: Edward Norton, Stacy Keach, Joan Allen, David Strathairn, Scott Glenn, and Albert Finney.

If nothing else, THE BOURNE LEGACY trailer should reinforce yet again why summer 2012 is gonna be a helluva time at the movies.
