We already knew that Nimrod Antal’s PREDATORS is currently filming in Austin, Texas (we have Jenna Bush there right now). What we didn’t know is that the film recently picked up a pretty big name to star alongside it’s already impressive cast. Word got released today that none other than Laurence Fishburne will be joining the Robert Rodriguez produced sci-fi project!
All we know about Fishburne’s character is that he’ll be playing some dude named ‘Noland.’ Now while the cast for PREDATORS is in fact impressive, I’m finding it hard to picture Topher Grace and Adrian Brody battling the alien menace known as Predator. Fishburne, on the other hand, I can see kicking Predator ass across that entire planet! The dude oozes badass. You with me on this one? He joins Grace, Brody, Alice Braga (below), Danny Trejo and Derek Mears among others.
PREDATORS follows a group of elite warriors who are hunted by members of a merciless alien race known as Predators and already has a release date of July 9, 2010. We currently have the beautiful and always awesome Jenna Busch on the set of PREDATORS so chances are we’ll be hearing a lot more soon. Be sure to keep it here for updates as we hear it!
