Director Jo Roberts’ flick FOREST OF THE DAMNED has been floating around for awhile now, but hadn’t found US distribution. Now we get word from Jo that Universal Music has picked it up. Congrats dude!
The film will be released with a new title – DEMONIC – and we’re told it is actually much bloodier than its European counterpart. Nothing wrong with that. I checked out the European release awhile back and it wasn’t shy about the red stuff, so we could be looking at a real bloodbath for the US drop. Read on for the concept:
There is a myth that in the heart of Miranda Forest there dwell beautiful nymph creatures that were once angels. Thrown out of heaven after they became infected with human emotions of lust and sexual desire they now roam the forest, luring in unsuspecting victims with their beauty before seducing them and then gruesomely killing them.
