Four TV spots invite you to Blumhouse’s horrific Fantasy Island

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

On February 14th, Sony and Blumhouse will be taking moviegoers back to FANTASY ISLAND, that place where anything and everything is possible, the setting of the television series that aired on ABC from 1977 to 1984 (and had a short-lived revival in 1998)… But things are different this time around. The FANTASY ISLAND movie has a different tone than the show it's inspired by, it's of a different genre.

Directed by Jeff Wadlow from a script he wrote with Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs, this FANTASY ISLAND is a horror movie. It stars Michael Pena in the role of

the enigmatic Mr. Roarke, who makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.

The cast also includes Lucy Hale, Maggie Q, Michael Rooker, Ryan Hansen, Jimmy O. Yang, Charlotte McKinney, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Portia Doubleday, and Austin Stowell.

We've seen a couple trailers for FANTASY ISLAND as its release date draws near, one of them is embedded above, and now we've gotten our hands on a batch of TV spots that show us more of what this movie has to offer. It doesn't look like the show that starred Ricardo Montalban back in the day, but it does look like it could be entertaining.

Check out the TV spots embedded below and see if you'd like to spend Valentine's Day at FANTASY ISLAND.
