Frog Bros. comic

Today must be a day for comics. Earlier we told you about the JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER comic (check that shite out HERE), and now STYD scored the first look of the cover for THE LOST BOYS: REIGN OF FROGS comic!

Check out the concept and tell me you aren’t stoked: Before Buffy…before Blade…there was one name that was whispered in fear and awe among the undead…The Frog Brothers. Edgar and Alan Frog, the no-nonsense vampire slayers from the cult film “The Lost Boys,” are back with a vengeance in a mini-series that will bridge the gap between the original film and the sequel, “Lost Boys 2: The Tribe,” due to be released this summer.

Nice! The cover features the Frog Brothers looking pissed with a horde of vampires ravaging out of control. My only problem? They don’t really look like the Frog Bros. from the film. I mean, sure, it’s a comic, I get that — but how hard would it have been to snag Corey Feldman’s likeness and stuck him in there? Small complaint to an overall awesome cover, but someone had to say it.

To check out the full cover, go ahead and click HERE and get ready for THE LOST BOYS 2: THE TRIBE in theaters later this year.
