From: Epix sci-fi horror series being produced by Joe and Anthony Russo

Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo's company AGBO is teaming up with Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio to bring us the "contemporary sci-fi horror series" From. The premium network Epix has given the show a 10 episode straight-to-series order.

Written and created by John Griffin, From will dig into

the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down.

A co-production between Epix Studios and MGM International Television Productions, From will be executive produced by Griffin, the Russos, Appelbaum, Nemec, Pinkner, Rosenberg, and AGBO's Mike Larocca. Adrienne Erickson of Midnight Radio will serve as co-executive producer.

Jack Bender, best known for directing episodes of Lost and Mr. Mercedes (as well as Child's Play 3), will direct the first four episodes of the show, and will also be executive producing. This definitely sounds like a good match for someone with Lost experience.

Michael Wright of Epix / MGM promises From will

deliver suspense, terror and cliffhanger moments, all while telling a truly engaging story with rich characters."

MGM's Rola Bauer added that

John Griffin and the creative team deliver thrilling and creepy moments that will keep all viewers on the edge."

From is currently casting, with filming scheduled to begin in Halifax next month. Epix is planning to make the show a 2022 premiere. Outside the United States, From will be distributed through the Netflix streaming service.
