Severin Films will release the instant cult classic BIRDEMIC: SHOCK AND TERROR on DVD and Blu-ray on February 22nd. The cover art can be viewed below. In addition to two songs, “This Is Birdemic” and “Hangin’ Out With My Family,” being put out to coincide with the release, the discs will contain the following extras:

The 2008 low budget schlock-fest was meant to pay homage to homage to Alfred Hitchcock’s THE BIRDS but instead turned into a notoriously bad “romantic thriller” with some of the worst CGI you will ever see. It is written and directed by James Nguyen and stars Alan Bagh and Whitney Moore (below). Here is the plot:
A platoon of eagle & vultures attack the residence of a small town. Many people died. It’s not known what caused the flying menace to attack. Two people managed to fight back, but will they survive Birdemic?
