HYBRID is a movie I’m really looking forward too. We’re talking about a bunch of co-eds on a boat that get terrorized by a vicious monster! What’s not to love?!
Well today the full one-sheet for HYBRID is finding it’s way around the internet. Now we’ve actually seen this shot before so it’s nothing new. This time it’s pegged in ‘movie-poster’ form though and we’ve got a larger shot of it so I’m here to show you all! Check out the one sheet above, just click through to check out the larger version.
HYBRID follows four friends that decide to rent a schooner for the day, everything is smooth sailing until they encounter a derelict ship adrift in the ocean – a massive trawler that looks as if it had been dragged from the bottom of the sea. When they spot a frightened little girl waving at them from the bow, they have no choice but to investigate. As they get closer to the ship, they discover that the girl is not alone, and that a terrifying creature born from environmental abuse is also stalking the ship.
Ernie Barbarash is directing the monstrous adventure with a script from Peter Kwong. HYBRID is set to start filming this May in Puerto Rico.
