Probably the most anticipated finale of this generation, moreso than THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, the end of Lost, or the closing chapter of The Sopranos, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN (PART 2) will change the face of cinema forever, forging the greatest vampire/werewolf epic into celluloid history.
Okay, that’s total bullshit, but there are some 16-year-old girls who might argue for it. Today we have the full-length teaser trailer, featuring Bella (Kristen Stewart) as a full-fledged vampire jumping through the forest and hunting…deer. Because nothing says bad ass vampire like one that hunts white tail deer. Obviously, Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) are around to provide much needed jealousy and friction, coupled with the usual castmates of heavily-powdered vamps and surly-chested Indian werewolves.

I totally get that there is a massive audience for these films, even if it’s the under 18 crowd and/or over 40 female crowd. I’m not quite sure that fits the JoBlo.com demographic, but there it is. I’ve only seen the first two of these films and keep scheduling root canals every time the opportunity arises to watch the follow-ups, but judging from this trailer the whole thing feels like a bad MTV scripted series or a USA network movie. All that’s missing is Sharktopus.
Love it or hate it, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN (PART 2) will close out the series on November 16, 2012. Well, until they reboot or throw a suitcase of money at Stephanie Meyer to write another one.
