What We Do in the Shadows

The television series What We Do in the Shadows, which doesn't follow the same characters as Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi's film WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS but is set in the same world, is scheduled to premiere on FX on March 29th. In recent months we have seen several short promos for the show, but with less than two months left to go before its first airing the network has now released a full trailer for it.

Executive produced by Waititi, Clement, Paul Simms, Scott Rudin, Eli Bush, and Garrett Basch, the What We Do in the Shadows TV show is set in Staten Island (the movie took place in New Zealand) and follows

three vampires who live together: Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), and Nandor (Kayvan Novak) — the former two are husband and wife. Also living with them is a fourth vampire named Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch), who’s an “energy vampire.” Instead of blood, he sucks the energy out of his victims by boring them to death with mundane anecdotes and bad jokes. The office is his feeding ground, but his powers also work on his vampire roomies.

Harvey Guillen co-stars as the vampires' "sweet but fumbling" familiar Guillermo, and Beanie Feldstein, Doug Jones, Mark Proksch, and Jake McDorman are also in the cast.

The trailer can be seen below, and I found it to be pretty amusing. What We Do in the Shadows looks like it's going to be a fun show to watch.
