George Lazenby’s James Bond Revisited: On Her Majesty’s Secret Service

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Welcome back to James Bond Revisited, as we look back at all the 007 flicks, counting down to the (eventual) theatrical release of NO TIME TO DIE. In 1967, Sean Connery's contract as James Bond had reached its end, and he seemingly had no interest in returning to the role. Thus, the hunt for on for a new actor to take his place – with the producers eventually settling on an Australian model named George Lazenby. The resulting film, ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE, would become one of the more obscure Bond films, but also one of the best and most influential, counting directors like Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino as fans. So join us as we look back at what just might be the greatest James Bond film of them all! Plus, the late Diana Rigg as James Bond's wife! Truly, this Bond movie was one of a kind.

UPDATE: It looks like Lazenby himself appreciated the video and retweeted us. Check it out!
