Just a few hours ago, we shared the first look images of Bill Moseley's Otis and Sheri Moon Zombie's Baby in 3 FROM HELL, writer/director Rob Zombie's upcoming sequel to his films HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS. But where was Sid Haig as Otis and Baby's killing spree companion Captain Spaulding?
The captions accompanying the images of Otis and Baby indicated they survived the shootout at the end of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS and have been locked up in prison since the events of that film. If the fact that Zombie hadn't shared a picture of Captain Spaulding got you worried that Haig's character might have died from his bullet wounds, the image Zombie just posted to his Instagram account should be a comfort.
Embedded below we have the first shots of Haig/Captain Spaulding in the film – and just like his pals, he has survived THE DEVIL'S REJECTS and gone to prison.
Zombie also shared a picture of Jeff Daniel Phillips' character Warden Virgil Dallas Harper, who finds that "dealing with The Rejects even when they are behind bars ain't that easy".

Zombie recently said that he will begin editing 3 FROM HELL in September, the aim being to get the film released next year.
