Can someone please explain to me what’s going on with GHOSTBUSTERS 3? Like most of you I’m getting frustrated with these constant GHOSTBUSTERS 3 ‘updates’ that lead to absolutely nothing, but unfortunately it’s my sworn duty to bring you all any breaking genre news that hits this here internet so bear wtih me a little bit.
We just learned that Dan Aykroyd was thinking about re-writing the entire script and here we are a few days later with the news that not only is a script finished, but Sony loves it and have decided to move forward with the project! Don’t believe me? That’s alright… I don’t believe myself! But according to the guys over at Ghostbusters Italia a Mr. Stefano Paganini, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment PM Catalogue, Animation and TV series, recently spilled the beans at Rome’s Ghostbusters Day 2010. Check out what Paganini had to say:
“I spoke about this night with my boss from Los Angeles. She allowed me to let you know that the script of Ghostbusters 3 has been approved so the engine has been turned on!”
Hard to believe someone working for Sony would say something like that unless it’s true, no? Does that mean the script from Gene Stupnitski and Lee Eisenberg is a go? And what about Bill Murray? Dammit I want some confirmation on all this!
