Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Director Jason Reitman's Ghostbusters: Afterlife, a sequel to his father Ivan Reitman's films Ghostbusters (watch it HERE) and Ghostbusters II (watch that one HERE), was dealt a substantial delay due to the pandemic, but now it's on track to reach theatres on November 11th. Yesterday, June 8th, was Ghostbusters Day, and the folks over at IGN celebrated with a special Ghostbusters: Afterlife event, during which they unveiled some new images from the film!

Below you can see a shot of the house that serves as an important location in Afterlife, plus images of Ecto-1 and supporting cast members Celese O'Connor, Logan Kim, and Paul Rudd.

Scripted by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan, Ghostbusters: Afterlife stars Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, and Carrie Coon as a family

with single mom Callie and her two kids, Trevor and Phoebe, who move into a beaten-down farmhouse in Oklahoma only to discover that there’s something strange in the neighborhood. Unexplained quakes shake the town. There’s an old mine nearby that bears the name of Ivo Shandor, who built the Manhattan high-rise in the 1984 film that channeled the forces of evil.

Paul Rudd plays "a local teacher who’s been documenting the unexplained phenomena, befriending Callie and her kids, and helping make the connection between the current weirdness and the events of three decades before".

Bokeem Woodbine, Tracy Letts, Oliver Cooper, and original Ghostbusters stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts are also in the cast.
