Glenn Danzig’s vampire spaghetti western reveals “Count Holliday”!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

So, it's another day, and another still from rocker Glenn Danzig's upcoming vampire spaghetti western Death Rider in the House of Vampires, starring Devon Sawa (Idle Hands) as the titular "Death Rider". Today, Danzig has revealed the character of "Count Holliday", played by Julian Sands (Warlock). You can see him in all his campy glory in the article header!

Here's how Danzig describes the character to Bloody-Disgusting, who also exclusively released the pic:

[Holliday] rules the Vampire Sanctuary…[i]n this still, he is in his chamber.

Not much to go on, of course, but it at least looks like Death Rider in the House of Vampires will be utilizing the same colorful, Argento-esque color palette Danzig used in his directorial debut Verotika – which was by far the most enjoyable aspect of that previous film. Let's hope he won't be repeating the…let's say…less enjoyable aspects of that film.

Meanwhile, no official release date as of yet, but we'll keep you updated!

So what do you guys think? Fans of Danzig? If so, going to see his upcoming vampire western? Either way, sound off below!
