So this is fun! Our friends at Bloody-Disgusting have exclusively released the first official production still from Glenn Danzig's – former lead singer of The Misfits-turned-filmmaker – second feature film directorial effort, Death Rider in the House of Vampires, a spaghetti western featuring vampires. It stars Devon Sawa (Idle Hands, The Fanatic) as the titular "Death Rider", and you can see him in the pic at the top of the article!
Here's what Danzig told the site:
That is Devon Sawa as Death Rider and the Virgin Girl on the horse…Dawn is approaching and they are heading to sanctuary.
Unfortunately there's not much else to report, as there's no official release date or plot synopsis. However, Danzig did tell an audience at a Q&A for Verotika (which I happened to attend), that
Everybody in the movie is a vampire…so, you won’t have to wait around to see the vampire. They’re all fucking vampires!
So what do you guys think? Anyone else see Danzig's bonkers horror anthology, Verotika? If so, looking forward to his next film? I'm personally curious, because at the very least it should be entertaining, whether it's actually good or not. But either way, sound off below!
