SNAKES ON A PLANE may have started a new era in flicks that have awesomely to the point titles. Case in point is the new pickup – HOW I MET MY NEW BOYFRIEND’S DEAD FIANCE. I can only hope they have the balls to stick with that title and not neuter it down to something like DARK SECRETS.
Script is from Jeff Lowell who will also make his feature directorial debut. Lowell has cut his teeth in the TV sitcom world with work on shows like THE DREW CAREY SHOW and SPIN CITY. No plot details have been offered up yet (outside of the title obviously), but it’s pretty clear we can expect this to fall into the horror-comedy category.
Now I’d like to be the first to say that the new studio past time of having fans create the poster art for upcoming flicks would serve this particular project very well. I’d love to see what came out of that!
