Good evening: The trailer for Hitchcock, starring Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, and Scarlett Johansson arrives

JoBloJoBlo

The much-anticipated trailer for HITCHCOCK, starring Anthony Hopkins as the elusive director, has arrived and promises to be a compelling biopic about the filmmaker, sprinkled with intrigue, humor, and nostalgia.  So, pretty much, it looks awesome.  Hopkins appears to be turning in yet another commanding performance and I’d expect no less from such an amazing actor.  With such a great supporting cast, HITCHCOCK looks to be a really fun and engrossing pic.

Take a look:

Looks outstanding, no?  Before seeing the trailer I thought that HITCHCOCK would be a decent little biopic, but I’m now convinced it’ll be utterly awesome with some reveting performances and unexpected humor.  This one’s got great potential and is now officially on my must-see list.  What do you guys think?

Here’s the brief synopsis:

A love story between influential filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock and wife Alma Reville during the filming of PSYCHO in 1959.

HITCHCOCK, starring Anthony Hopkins, Hellen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, Kurtwood Smith, James D’Arcy, and Toni Collette is scheduled to hit theaters on November 23, 2012.
