Back at the beginning of July Mike told you all about a 3D flick heading our way called THE LEGEND OF ZOMBIE ROAD. Now from what we know the movie will be based on the true story of St. Louis’ ‘Zombie Road’ which is said to be haunted by the ghost of a man known only as “Zombie” who would make his way nightly to the area, where he would stalk and kill party-goers and then return to the asylum before dawn. It is said that he was killed in the asylum after slaying approximately 22 people. Twisted.
Well I’ve been following ZOMBIE ROAD co-director Ethan Terra on Facebook and the man updated everyone recently on an interesting casting announcement for ZOMBIE ROAD! Joining Masiela Lusha, Leslie Easterbrook, Kane Hodder, Betsy Rue, Eileen Dietz, Bill Allenn and Lorenzo Eduardo will be Meagan Good! Looks like ZOMBIE ROAD is getting ‘the goods’…. get it?…. Sorry. It’s late.
ZOMBIE ROAD is definiately building a cast worth checking out it seems. Most of the names attached thus far have a respectable genre history behind them, Good (below) herself recently starred in both SAW V and ONE MISSED CALL. Alright… maybe not ‘respectable’ credits…
Howard Smith joins Terra in directing the feature with Terra penning the script with Joe Knetter based on an idea by Bobby Ray Akers Jr.. Keep it here as we await any more updates on THE LEGEND OF ZOMBIE ROAD!
