Gore galore in promo teaser for The Void, from the directors of Manborg

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

Last week we debuted one of three new posters for THE VOID, an 80s-style splatterfest from directors Steven Kostanski and Jeremy Gillespie of MANBORG and FATHER’S DAY fame. While the film attempts to raise some extra funds on IndieGogo (predominantly for the FX budget), the creative team has already made a killer teaser trailer for the flick that is impressive in its own right. You can take a look at this “proof of concept” trailer below – just be warned, it could be considered NSFW!

In the middle of a routine patrol, officer Daniel Carter happens upon a blood-soaked figure limping down a deserted stretch of road. He rushes the young man to a nearby rural hospital staffed by a skeleton crew, only to discover that patients and personnel are transforming into something inhuman. As the horror intensifies, Carter leads the other survivors on a hellish voyage into the subterranean depths of the hospital in a desperate bid to end the nightmare before it’s too late.

The guys site titles like THE THING, THE FLY and THE BLOB as inspiration, and may I speak for all of us when I say we definitely need more icky flicks like that in our lives? Thank you.

You can learn more about the project on its Indiegogo page right HERE.
