The other day I told you how Joe Lynch’s next flick got announced at this year’s FrightFest. That flick will be THE KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM. Nice. Well it seems that’s not the only thing Lynch is doing over in the UK!
Like last year, Lynch has teamed with fellow filmmaker Adam Green to put together some short films for FrightFest. Last year they brought us their ROAD TO FRIGHTFEST and this year they’re just AMERICAN DOUCHEBAGS IN LONDON. Obviously these shorts are paying homage to John Landis’ AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. Here’s the brass tacks:
“Since it was not only FrightFest’s 10 Year Anniversary but also the celebration of the re-release of “AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON”, this year’s round of nightly surprises featured the duo recreating their favorite scenes from the classic film. While you may have to actually be a “FrightFester” to get all of the inside-jokes that are specific to the festival’s history, we’re still confident that you’ll get some laughs watching the horror, comedy, and cameos unfold as the boys try and make their way to the greatest genre film festival in the world…again.”
As you probably know Green and Lynch are the guys behind entertaining hack and slash flicks HATCHET and WRONG TURN 2 so they’re ok in my book! Along with Lynch and Green, Jason Miller, Will Barratt, Robert Pendergraft, Andy Garfield, and Heather Allison all worked on the 5 short films as well. You can check out all five right over HERE!
