Personally, I can’t wait for FUNNY GAMES. It’s, without a doubt, one of my most anticipated films. I was intrigued when I first heard rumblings about it and with every new piece of media we see, I get more and more excited. From the website to the posters to the clips to the awesome ‘game’ I last told you about.
Well today IGN have scored another clip from the film. It’s not really a clip… more like a few clips tied into one, but the premise for this segment is brilliant. “Your Users Guide To Home Invasion.” A great ‘how to’ lesson! Check that awesome clip out right over here.
Now FUNNY GAMES hit a mixed reaction while doing the festival rounds, and writer/director Michael Haneke has caught a lot of slack about remaking his own film just a decade after it came out. But regardless of all that, this is still a flick I’m looking forward too. Definately one of my top three.
And one of the reasons why I can’t wait to check it out is the amazing cast. The film stars Naomi Watts (below), Brady Corbet, Tim Roth, and Michael Pitt. Score. FUNNY GAMES is about a couple young guys who decide to toy with a family by making a disturbing bet involving their lives.
FUNNY GAMES hits theaters in just over 3 weeks on March 14.
