The Hollywood Reporter announced this morning that FAMILY GUY’s David A. Goodman has been tapped to adapt the Blatant Comics horror property LAST BLOOD to the big screen.
The premise for LAST BLOOD sounds promising, and definitely has the potential to kick both the vampire and the zombie genre’s flat on their heads. Check it:
LAST BLOOD follows the human survivors of a zombie massacre who find themselves protected by a band of vampires who need their blood to survive.
Cool, eh? A zombie vampire flick… you don’t really so too many of those out there. Not sure what the tone will be with Goodman writing the script, as he’s mostly known for his comedy on THE FAMILY GUY and FUTURAMA. My guess though, considering the subject matter, is that it’s going to be pretty damn hard core.
Stick around for more on LAST BLOOD as it rises to the surface!
Vampires are hot.
