Well I guess I got a bit ahead of myself yesterday when I said how NEW MOON was taking the ‘pointless updates’ crown from HALLOWEEN 2. Today we’ve got another bit of H2 news for you all to feast upon! And surprise surprise, it’s coming from Rob Zombie’s MySpace page!
The news in question is a bit of recasting news of course! Remember when we showed you Bill Moseley all done up in his H2 character? Well you might as well throw that right out the window because according to Mr. Zombie, Moseley has been recast! So who’ll be stepping into the shoes of Uncle Seymour Coffin? We don’t know!
We do have a picture though. Above you can check out H2’s new Uncle Seymour Coffins. Here’s Zombie’s post that accompinied the photo: Haddonfield’s Channel 18 has replaced the old Seymour Coffins with a new and improved Seymour Coffins. The new UNCLE SEYMOUR COFFINS will be hosting the 4th Annual Phantom Jam! So who’s under that make-up? Off the top of my head I’m going to assume lesser known actor/rocker Joe Hursley but that’s just a shot in the dark. Who do you think it is?
Word has it this ‘Phantom Jam’ will play a huge role in the second half of the film, assumingly being the setting for Michael Myers’ newest rampage. Now why did Moseley have to step aside? Well apparently it’s because of scheduling conflicts with another project. Of course. So there you have it. For your daily HALLOWEEN 2 update we’ve got a new Uncle Seymour Coffins. Keep it here for any and all updates, no matter how pointless, for Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN 2 as we await it’s August 28th release date.
