So now that SAW IV has come and gone, we can expect to see SAW V on October 24, 2008. With Darren Bousman out of the director’s chair, production designer David Hackl has stepped into take a go at Jigsaw’s twisted games.
Blood-Digusting spoke with David Hackl to get a statement, and this is what he had to say:

I’m not opposed to the guy who’s designed the most twisted deaths ever helming the next installment. I just hope the story isn’t a cop out like SAW IV. I would personally like to see James Wan come back for one more, who knows! Anyway, more about SAW V when it happens.
