If you haven't seen the new HALLOWEEN sequel yet, there are SPOILERS below.

When director David Gordon Green's HALLOWEEN comes to DVD and Blu-ray later this month (you can pre-order a copy HERE), the discs will feature a selection of deleted and extended scenes:

– Extended Shooting Range
– Shower Mask Visit
– Jog to a Hanging Dog
– Allyson and Friends at School
– Cameron and Cops Don’t Mix
– Deluxe Banh Mi Cops
– Sartain and Hawkins Ride Along

We've already seen one of those deleted scenes, as the "Shower Mask Visit" clip was released online several weeks ago. Now another deleted scene has made its way online, this one the "Cameron and Cops Don't Mix" clip.

The Cameron in question is Cameron Elam, played by Dylan Arnold. The shady boyfriend of Allyson (Andi Matichak), granddaughter of original HALLOWEEN heroine Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), Cameron exits the picture after having an argument with Allyson and dropping her cell phone into a bowl filled with… Chip dip? Pudding? What the hell was that stuff? Regardless, Cameron doesn't get the sort of comeuppance you'd usually expect a character like him to receive in a slasher movie, and Green has said there are plans for him if/when a sequel is made.

Even though Cameron wasn't killed, I was fine with his last scene being his final moment in the movie. His dick move with the phone causes Allyson (in the theatrical cut) to storm out of the dance before police arrive to evacuate the place since a masked slasher is stalking the streets of their town, so Allyson doesn't have any idea anything's wrong and she has no way to make or receive calls when she goes off walking through town herself.

The deleted scene "Cameron and Cops Don't Mix" does give us the pleasure of seeing Cameron get in trouble, but it also has Allyson stick around to talk with him after their argument, so she's around when the police show up at the dance and is given a direct warning that the streets aren't safe… So I think cutting this scene was a good move.

Scripted by Green, Jeff Fradley, and Danny McBride, the new HALLOWEEN ignores the events of every other film in the franchise except for the original HALLOWEEN. Curtis returns to the role of

Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

Also in the cast are Judy Greer as Laurie's daughter Karen, Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Virginia Gardner as Allyson's friend Vicky, Miles Robbins as Vicky's boyfriend Dave, Drew Scheid as Oscar, Toby Huss as Ray, Jefferson Hall as Aaron Korey, Rhian Rees as Dana Haines, Omar J. Dorsey as Sheriff Barker, Rob Niter as Deputy Sheriff Walker, Jibrail Nantambu as Julian, Haluk Bilginer as Dr. Ranbir Sartain, Nick McKeever as Deputy Keeve, and Diva Tyler as a caretaker. James Jude Courtney plays Michael Myers, with original Michael Myers performer Nick Castle also wearing the mask for one scene.
