Halloween clip

After all the bitching, after all the complaining, after all the shit-talking, and after all the anticipation, Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN hits theaters in two Fridays. Wow, I know. Hard to believe. We haven’t seen much coming from the HALLOWEEN camp, so it’s about flippin’ time they decided to throw us a bone and give us a little something to work with.

Yahoo!Movies scored a clip and a behind-the-scenes featurette today, both requiring a look if you’re at all interested in seeing how this flick is gonna turn out (that is, before you actually go out and see it). So the verdict? You tell me!

The clip ‘Trick or Treat’ showcases Michael Myers’ breaking outta prison, and features security guard Bill Moseley looking somewhat normal. Then there’s the ‘Behind the Mask’ featurette with Zombie and crew talking about how much this movie is gonna rock, the stages of the movie itself and a few clips sprinkled throughout we haven’t seen before either (one featuring the one and only Ken Foree).

Personally, everything they showed didn’t really do much for me. It’s totally a Zombie film, which is great, I just don’t know if that works for an entry in the HALLOWEEN series- even if it is a remake/revision. I’ll hold my final thoughts on this piece until I check it out, but so far… it’s not looking good. But that’s just my opinion- check out the action HERE and spit some bullets below on your take- HALLOWEEN 2007 – yay or nay? Prepare for the return of Michael Myers, in theaters everywhere August 31st.
