The Halloween franchise has twelve entries at the moment and there’s another sequel on the way next year, so of course there are a few “black sheep” movies in the mix and some that we can ask “WTF Happened to This Horror Movie?” about. One of the most divisive entries in the entire series is Rob Zombie’s Halloween II (watch it HERE) from 2009. This movie is either loved or hated, and in the latest episode of our The Black Sheep video series our own Lance Vlcek explains why this Halloween II happens to be his favorite Halloween movie since John Carpenter’s original. Check it out in the embed above.

Halloween II stars Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane, Malcolm McDowell, Sheri Moon Zombie, Brad Dourif, Danielle Harris, Brea Grant, and Angela Trimbur. The synopsis:

A year after narrowly escaping death at the hands of Michael Myers, Laurie Strode is at the breaking point, pushed to the edge by Dr. Loomis’ revelation that she’s Michael’s sister. Little does she know, the unstoppable killer is back in Haddonfield and, driven by visions of their dead mother, he is determined to bring about a bloody family reunion.

The cast also includes Chase Vanek, Caroline Williams, Dayton Callie, Richard Brake, Octavia Spencer, Richard Riehle, Margot Kidder, Daniel Roebuck, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Chris Hardwick, and Weird Al Yankovic, among others. It’s a huge cast.

This episode of The Black Sheep was Written, Narrated, and Edited by Lance Vlcek, Produced by Lance Vlcek and John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.

Rob Zombie’s Halloween II is indeed one of the Halloween movies we have asked “WTF Happened to This Horror Movie?” about, so that episode is embedded below, along with a few of the previous episodes of the Black Sheep series.
