I wasn’t too crazy about the teaser trailer for the long-in-development downtrodden superhero flick HANCOCK, which gave me a bad MY SUPER EX-GIRLFRIEND vibe. But I like Smith and think Peter Berg can be a highly effective director, so the finished product will get the benefit of the doubt for now.
Not so much for the teaser poster, which tells us nothing about the film except that Will Smith is in it, and he has a face. And a lousy tagline.
